Raroa Cross Country

On the 29 of April Raroa school had their cross country! All the houses competed for the House Shield. In the end the final placings were 1: Rawhiti 2:Tonga 3: Raki and 4: Uru

Everybody who participated had a really great time and all the year 7’s cant wait to do it next year!!!!  We had lots of people in our class come in the top 12 who were Libby, Nick, Daniel, Maya, John, William and the rest of the class did really well to. The top 8 from each year (with two reserves) are going to compete in the inter inter zones and we wish them the best of luck there. The course was a 3.6k run throughout raroa, raroa park and the local train station. Everybody gave their best and pushed themselves to run the whole way, most people sprinted the last 100 metres. The whole of room 19 loved this event and can’t wait to do it next year!
